Supergrevet Distanzradfahrt Wien-Berlin
This newly reimagined edition of the ultra cycling event, which first took place in 1893, celebrates the remarkable capabilities of the bicycle, with the original winner, Josef Fischer, having completed the ride in just 31 hours. Back then, this pioneering event in endurance cycling took place long before asphalt roads became commonplace, making it a gravel event avant la lettre. The Supergrevet Vienna-Berlin honors this trailblazing spirit, connecting two vibrant metropolises and their cycling communities, while offering a fresh opportunity for cyclists to engage in a true celebration of original long-distance cycling, set against the stunning backdrops of Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
